[bg=b4b697] I'm Just Your Average Every Day Superhero Ashton was on the back of his Pidgeot. They had flown all the way from the Kento Region. He had thought about starting over. But he had trained hard with his pokemon. He had caught a vulpix not long before leaving Kento. She was young and the lowest level of all his pokemon but with training she would become as strong as his Pidgeot which was the strongest of all his pokemon. Spotting a clearing and pointed to the ground and Talon dived. It was awesome flying in the air. The landing was much smoother than you would think it would be. As he climbed off he unbuckled the saddle he had made for when flying so he didn't fall off. Walking to a hanging branch he draped it over it. Ashton than reached for his belt and grabbed another poke'ball. "Driller come on out," A Fearow came from the poke'ball and stood before him. "You and Talon go in search of any trainers nearby. If you find anyone come back to me. And Driller don't pick a fight." With that he motioned for them to go. He watched as both of his pokemon took off. One heading north the other south. They would scan the area with in two to three miles from him for any trainers. mean while he would cook lunch. It was long past noon and his pokemon would be hungry especially Talon. Picking up some fire wood, small sticks and dry leaves he built a small fire and let them burn into coals. He than grabbed his pots and pans and filled the pots with water and threw some eggs in the pan. He quickly started to cook. Each pokemon type got a different kind of food based on their type. Once he was done he filled his pokemon bowls up and set them on the ground than called the rest of his pokemon out. "Ok come on out Torch, Flower, Flare and Daisy. It's time to eat." He placed Driller's and Talons food near the fire so it would stay warm. Mean while he put his own eggs and sausage on a plate for him to eat. Words, 375 Tagged, Open Notes, Open to everyone

After spending the majority of the boat ride hurling her lunch and dinner over the side, AJ wasn't sure why she had even come to little island-in-the-sun Kaspan. Her Pichu Chi sat perched on her head, clutching her long blonde hair. She had passed by the pokemon lab and was now heading towards the routes to start catching new Pokemon. Spending her entire life in the Johto region, she was excited to see the new Pokemon on the island.

"Chu!" Chi squalled when a Pigeot soared overhead, followed by a Fearow. Those Pokemon were common around Johto, but seeing them so well developed and trained... AJ tilted her head slightly and headed in the direction the Flying Pokemon had flew from. As she got closer, the scent of eggs and sausages filled her nose, her stomach grumbling from lack of food. Her own backpack was slung over her back, holding three Pokeballs. Breaking through the foliage, she spotted a human with the rest of his Pokemon, and smiled.

"Hello? Uhm. I'm sorry to interfere, but ... I just got here myself.. do you mind if I join you for breakfast?"

Looking up into the sky he spotted Driller and Talon flying back. They landed beside him at the same time the girl walked into his camp. Standing up he grabbed the two bowls by the fire and placed them by his pokemon. "Well done you have earned a rest." He than turned to the girl. "Greeting's, I'm Ashton and this is Driller, Talon, Torch Flower, Flare and Daisy." He pointed to each of his pokemon as he introduced them. "And of course you can stay for breakfast. I'll cook some more eggs and sausage and something for your pokemon to." Placing his own plate by the embers to keep them warm he got back to work cooking. First he had to scrub the pots and pans. Once clean he cracked two eggs into the pan and threw a couple sausages into it with it. He than got to work making some more pokemon food. "What pokemon types do you have besides electric?" "Thank you," AJ thanked him, as he Pichu squealed again once the Flying types returned. She watched him carefully; as a breeder she wanted to only improve. She took a seat where he was serving his Pokemon, stretching her legs out, as her Pichu crawled down and headed over towards his Eeveulotions. "Hm? Oh, I have two Water types, a Ditto, and handful of normal types." AJ looked over at her Pichu, smiling as she tried to touch the Umbreon. She had yet to get herself an Eevee, as they were majorly wanted in Johto. Her Pichu returned to her lap, watching the other Pokemon with her round eyes. AJ stroked the top of her head, getting slight static shock from it.

"Are you a breeder? Professor Lief mentioned something about this place being a breeders haven..."

Grabbing four of his different collapsible pots All his pots and pans where collapsible. He would collapse them than strap them to the back of his pack. He loved cooking. It was one of his best talents because he was super good at it. He started cooking food for each of her different types. Once the girls food was done he placed it on a plate and handed it to her. "There you go. Better eat up before it gets cold." Once the pokemon's food was done he turned to AJ. "Do you have bowls for your pokemon? I don't have extras." Daisy turned to the Pichu that walked up to her. She gave a light bark in greeting. Mean while she was trying to think of ways to pull pranks on the small pokemon. Flare looked to Daisy and shook his head than went back to eating. Mean while Flower left her food and ran up to Aj. She smiled up at her and climbed on to her lap. Ashton wasn't surprised by his eevee evolutions with the way they acted. But he was surprised by Flower. She was a gentle pokemon but she was also usually crippled by extreme shyness. So seeing her act like that was strange. "Well that's odd. She must really like you. She usually won't go near anyone. It took me forever to earn her trust. When I found her she was tied up to a tree with rope around her mouth so she couldn't eat or drink. Poor thing was near death. I quickly captured her in her week state. Once I had gotten her back to help I gave her the option of leaving or staying. You already know what she choose." Words, 317 Tagged, AJ Notes, here </div>

AJ sat patiently, smiling as she watched her Pokemon interact. Her Pichu scampered out of her lap and back into the field where she played with Flare and Daisy. AJ looked away from the scene to see Ashton handing her her breakfast. "Thank you," she thanked him, and began to eat. When he asked if she had any bowls, she nodded, and swallowed what was in her mouth to speak . "I do, actually." Putting her breakfast to the side, AJ swung her backpack onto the ground and rummaged through it, the slight sound of clattering things echoing faintly. Pulling out two small red bowls, she set them down, and pulled out what looked like a open packet of dried Pokefood.

"Chi? Come." The Pichu looked over her shoulder, than bounced over to her trainer, sitting prettily by the food dish. "Dried Pokefood is one of the best foods to give a Pokemon." AJ prattled off. "Its the best for Electric and Fire types, actually." Reaching behind her, AJ brought out her Azumarill Jon, who instantly pressed himself against her back. She coaxed him out with a handful of food, and smiled sheepishly at Ashton. "This is Jon. He's one of the Water types I was telling you about." Turning her attention to the Vulpix in her lap, she opened her hand with a handful of food, hoping to coax her into eating.

Ashton nodded and took the two bowls she set down and filed them up and set them back down. Now that he was done he could eat finally. Grabbing his plate he sat down and took a bite. The eggs where a bit rubbery now but they still tasted ok. "Your right dry food is sometimes better. But not all dry food is perfect for that type. I like to make special food for each types. I made enough now I'll put it in containers and I won't need to cook for a while other than for myself. I have enough Poffin's to last a week maybe two."

Flower sniffed the food Aj offered and grabbed a piece and darted back to Ashton and bit into it. Her ears pricked up and she squealed happily and ran back to AJ for more.

Driller and Talon finished eating at the same time. Driller flew up into a branch and tucked it's beak under a wing and took a nap. While Talon walked up to Ashton and cooed softly and gave a light peck at his jacket.

Ashton playfully pushed Talon away. "Ok, ok I get it you want a Poke'block." Digging into his pocket he pulled out a little baggy and pulled one out and threw it high in the air. He watched Talon fly into the sky and catch it than fly into a tree and eat it. She than fallowed Driller's suit and took a nap.

"I use the Poke'block as a treat. They don't get it often." Ashton was surprised she hadn't said anything about how he had found Flower. He shrugged and ignored it. He finished his breakfast and started cleaning the dishes.

AJ finished her breakfast and put the empty bowl beside her, as she cast her eyes over to her own Pokemon. Chi was busy munching on her food, clutching a kibble between her hands, while Jon gobbled his as fast as he could, anxious to get back into his Pokeball. "I see," AJ murmured. "I don't have the funds to make special food for each type, I take what I can get, and at the moment, its generic Pokefood." AJ smiled kindly as Jon pushed his food bowl back at her, and clung to her back, hiding his face between her shoulder blades.

The breeder looked to the Vulpix as she came back for more; reaching into the bag she took out some more of the larger kibble pieces and extended her hand palm flat to the Fire type. "I'm sorry about the state you found her in," AJ said, returning to the topic Ashton had brought up earlier.

"I found Jon here the same way; he was clinging to a fallen trunk with a weight tied on his tail. If I hadn't of found him, he would be dead." The Azumarill shivered and pressed himself harder against his trainer. She watched him interact with his Pokemon, glad to see that there was another person in the world who didn't think Pokemon were just battle machines.

AJ nodded. "Chi usually gets an apple for a snack, or a berry. Jon rarely wants anything other than Pokefood, but he gets sugar cubes." Speaking of feeding, she would have to get the others out and feed them soon. She leaned back on her hands, as Jon scurried out from behind her and sat beside her, sulking. He wasn't getting back in anytime soon. AJ reached over to him and scratched his long ears, making his feet twitch. "I hope the weather stays like this; I love it when its warm."

Ashton could understand that. Not everyone had the money. Ashton himself came from a pretty wealthy family so he always had enough money. His parents had bought him all the collapsible pots and pans and bowls so they would take less room. It was nice having a wealthy family. "Well we could travel together if you want and I can cook our meals as well as the pokemon's if you want."

Once he was done cleaning he packed his dishes away and strapped them to the back of his bag. When he heard about how she found the Azumarill he turned to it. No wonder the poor thing was so scared. He padded forward to it. Once he was a couple steps away he knelt down and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a poke'block and held it out to the pokemon. "It's ok Jon I won't hurt you"

Vulpix squealed and grabbed what was in her hand and quickly ate it and rubbed against her. She looked up at Ashton and smiled she could see what he was trying to do. Turning to the water pokemon she began to talk quickly to tell him her trainer wouldn't hurt him that he was trying to be nice.

Ashton nodded, "Yea pichu's and ever evolutions love apples." He was surprised that the azumarill liked sugar he laughed softly. "Well I never heard of that before." Looking up at the sky it was blue above them but he could see dark clouds to the east. "I don't know we might want to find shelter tonight."

At the mention of travelling together, AJ stiffened slightly. "Uhm. I'm not too good with people." She was; she was just a bit of a hothead and tempermental, and a bit of a neat freak. Then again... a travel buddy who was willing to cook didn't seem like such a bad idea. "But if you think you can handle me, then let's do it." The blonde shrugged, reaching over to pet the Vulpix, wondering if adding a Fire type to her list would be a good thing. Jon squeaked when Ashton got close, but after glancing at the Vulpix, he allowed the human to touch him, shivering slightly.

Scratching the Vulpix behind her ears, AJ allowed a rare smile to cross her features. "I stumbled upon it by accident; I left a box of sugar cane cubes on my cot bed, and when I came back from doing whatever, Jon had nearly half of the box gone." The smile brightened slightly at the memory. "There was no way he could be coaxed back into his Pokeball that day. It was hilarious."

AJ followed Ashton's glance and frowned, her hand pausing on the top of Vulpix's head. "Ugh. I always jinx things."
