He's cheerful, easily excitable, and always curious; such a combination of traits tends to lead him to mischief. Still rather young, he looks to those he deems trustworthy to care for him, and can come across as spoiled, selfish and lazy. Despite his confidence, he gives up too easily, preferring easy victories over those won by hard work -- a flaw that can land him in deep trouble. He is calm and quiet, preferring to spend quality time with those he loves rather than to do battle -- in fact, he displays a distinct pacifist nature: whereas most other Ekans lash out when provoked, it often takes repeated attacks to get a response other than "flee" from this Pokemon. Out of battle, he spends his time basking and "mothering" the rest of the team (often to their mortification), not in the least due to his very obvious love for all things edible. This rather complements his laid-back nature: after a large meal, ??? would spend the next few hours, if not days, happily asleep. He doesn't like to interfere too much, opting instead to watch and wait for things to take their course -- it's not that he's lazy; he's just not that motivated. Nevertheless, it's not difficult to get a response from him, as he is certainly not lacking in alertness. (Some might say paranoia, but that does seem a tad too strong...) Ever watchful, he is often the first to spot any changes in the environment, though his tendency to reserve judgment can lead to wasted opportunities. Not quite a willing member of Elisa's team, the Zigzagoon is slightly resentful of the rest of the party.
