Akadeanna walked towards the lab followed by her boyfriend; she was starting her new journey and Junuis had insisted he tagged along with her.
She and Junuis had traveled from Golden Rod city together to begin their journey together. Akadeanna hadn't been a trainer she had just aided Junuis with his pokemon, but she decided it was time in this new region to be a trainer. Akadeanna looks around once inside the lab and she says, "Hello is anyone here?"

There seemed to be a strong scent of .... burnt something in the air. Professor Lief was in the kitchen of the laboratory, one arm wrapped around an egg, while his other arm was busy mixing what looked like the batter of more cookies. "I'll be right out!" Called the Professor, cradling the one egg carefully before pulling the mix from the machine and leaving it to rest for a minute. Walking out into the main section of his lab, Professor Lief gave the two new faces a bright smile, one hand firmly holding the egg. "Hello! Welcome to my lab!" He announced, smiling at them. "How can I help you two, today?"

Akadeanna Smiles And Says, “Thank You. My name is Akadeanna I’m here to get my first Pokémon; I’ve worked with Pokémon for a very long time helping my boyfriend with his and now I’m ready to begin my own journey.” Junuis watches his girlfriend who had always seemed nervous for this day be the confident woman he knew. Junuis says, “My name is Junuis I’m just here to be with her I’m a breeder myself.”

Lief grinned at the pair and rubbed the egg kindly. The egg had been a random delivery one day; Lief didn't have the heart to abandon it. "Hi Akadeanna. It's a great thing to start a journey with someone more experienced!" He nodded at her boyfriend, the mutal male respect thing. "If you and your boyfriend could just sit over there, I'd be more than willing to help you get your starter." The egg trembled slightly when Lief brushed his fingers over the top of it. He only had a few more days with this thing before it hatched. "There are some sandwiches and water bottles on the table, feel free to pack some up for your journey. I'll be right back."
Lief wandered away into the back room, where he could put the egg in the incubator and get Akadeanna's things.

Akadeanna smiles and says, “So I’ve been told.” Junuis nods his head back at the professor politely. Akadeanna smiles and says, “Of course we’d be happy to.” Junuis watches the egg and he says, “Your egg sure seems to be enjoying the attention.” Akadeanna says, “Thank you.”

Lief had heard Junuis' comment and had only smiled at it, knowing each egg deserved enough attention for the Pokemon to /want/ to come out, and not because it had to. He went into a back room and spent a few minutes there, putting the egg carefully into the incubator and grabbing the things Akadeanna would need for her journey.
He returned a few minutes later - without the egg - but with an arm full of Pokeballs, pictures, and of course the starter pack each trainer would get. "I've returned! Please you two, take some of the water bottles and food; Hoenn knows I don't need anymore of it." He chuckled lightheartedly; as a bigger man, poking fun at his own weight was a lifelong joke.

Akadeanna smiles and says, “We will.” Both gave a light chuckle at his words. Akadeanna moves closer to check out the Pokémon that the pictures depicted each Pokéball contained. She glances at the picture of Charmander then at Totodile, then she returned her attention back to Charmander and she says, “I would like Charmander.”

Professor Lief smiled and took the rest of the Pokemon Balls away, minimizing them and stashing them in his pockets. "He's all yours, then." He handed them the starter pack. "There's a map in there. Follow the route out here and it'll take you to the next village. There's going to be aton of Pokemon along the way ... and in that same sense, there's going to be a lot of new trainers too." Lief laughed again. "Good luck you two!"
