Raine stepped out onto the grassy terrain of the route, releasing Dratini from it's ball. "All right, since we haven't officially met, I'm Raine. We're going on an adventure together." She leaned in front of the Dratini, wondering if she was being too person-like. Maybe, she needed to act more like a pokemon. But Dratini just wriggled a little and blinked at her shyly. "Hm.. Well, I can't call you Dratini for the rest of your life... so... what about... Patrick?" The Dratini shook its head plaintively. "What about... Jared?" He tilted his head, but didn't seem to dislike this one. "All right, Jared it is!" A sigh of relief escaped Raine's lips; good, she'd done something right. She padded forward, admiring the clear skies and beautiful weather. This was just a perfect day for a walk and a little exploring. "So, what do you want to do first, Jared? Go on a walk? Find somebody to battle? Make some pokemon friends?

A Wild Pokemon Has Appeared! [atrb=border,0,true]munchmunchmunch.... what? what was that? swinging her big head around, the bug pokemon looked to her left. then to her right. nothing. hmm. munchmunchmunch~ what!? human speech! oh no! oh no oh no oh no! scurrying her little tail down the tree and onto the path, she squealed as she spotted the worm dragon and its master. what was she going to do!? she didn't have much in her, and it wasn't like she had a berry or anything! frozen in fear she stared wide-eyed at the worm dragon and its master, hoping they would pass her by. (oops! im sorry i didnt see this earlier! :c) | FEMALE , LEVEL 2 , TACKLE , STRING SHOT |

Raine jumped when she heard the loud pokemon squeal. Her eyes widening a little, she glanced over at the small little Caterpie. For a second, she wasn't sure what to do. She didn't really want the Caterpie on her team, so she ruled that out. Raine looked over at her own pokemon, Jared, and smiled. He was eying the Caterpie, probably debating whether it was a threat or not. "Let's see how you do against this Caterpie, eh Jared/" Raine said, lightly bending to pat her pokemon on his head. "Let's see... Jared, use Wrap!" She was new to this thing, but was going to do her best to help Jared in the battle.

A Wild Pokemon Has Appeared! [atrb=border,0,true]Caterpie shrieked again, but that did nothing against the worm dragon wrapping itself around her tiny body. She wailed in defense, struggling mad in the grips of the dragon Pokemon. She would have to do something to get out! But how? That was the best question here. Howhowhowhow... Oh! She leaned her head back and tossed a feeble string shot at Jared's head, hoping the close -range would land on the worm dragon's eyes and force it to let her go. CATERPIE was hit with WRAP! -1 HP
