Q: where is kaspan region?
A: kaspan region is nearly 15 days seabound north of Kanto region.

Q: why are there villages and not cities/towns?
A: kaspan region is an island; it hasn't been over-populated, hence the villages. there's really just enough trainers/pokemon on the island for it to become such a grand region.

Q: if i encounter a wild pokemon and i catch it, does my pokemon get a level?
A: if you catch a wild pokemon, each pokemon involved in the battle earns half a level, except for the pokemon that was caught. if the wild pokemon is caught, the pokemon used in that battle earns an entire level.

Q: if a Pokemon faints while my character is trying to catch it, can i still catch it?
A; yes.

Q: can i be in more than one place at a time?
A: yep; just dont go all over the place - we have our routes mashed into one board so you don't need to post here there and everywhere. you can post in the pokecenter and pokemart whenever you want :]

Q: do i have to start at the pokemon lab?
A: yes. this region is for new and old trainers looking to start or re-start their journey.

Q: can my character start with a few badges already?
A: if they're a breeder, yes. they can start with as many badges as they like.

Q: how does levelling work?
A: you can find all levelling information here.

Q: can my character be a villan?
A: of course! we accept all sorts of characters here at Kaspan :]

Q: how do i create my character?
A: register with your alias not a character name. once you've done that, make sure you post in the registration thread!

Q: can i be a gym leader/elite four?
A: no, sorry. these spots are staff-played, aka NPCs

Q: why does Professor Lief give so many Pokemon?
A: it's just a small incentive to make people think about the Pokemon they actually want, and because we're hosting just under 400 Pokemon, why not give them the option to choose, you know? Besides, I just like having so many options.

Q: why hasn't a mod replied to my thread?
A: they could be busy with school/real life issues. if it's past the three day limit, please contact me, Jenni.

Q: do all my mod threads need to be labeled with (mod)/[mod]?
A: yes please; it'll help us pick out what threads need mods or not. if you have a non-mod thread and you need a mod for any reason, please contact a staff member via CBOX.

Q: can i battle other players?
A: yes! make sure that they're alright with it.

Q: can i breed right away if my character is a breeder?
A: yep! all you need to do is fill out the form in the board and read the rules.

Q: can i become staff?
A: when we need the staff, we'll open a staff search. make sure to apply correctly.

Q: why is my account locked/deleted?
A: you must have missed an activity check, or you broke a rule. if you think your account was unfairly locked or deleted, please contact me, Jenni.

Q: can i bring pokemon in from generation 4 and on?
A: no. we're a generation one thru three pokemon roleplay.

Q: do i have to start as a trainer?
A: nope. you can start as either a trainer or a breeder.

Q: can i start as a breeder?
A: yep!

Q: what does the bicycle have to do here?
A: it helps you get around, it also cuts your egg posts in half (15 is turned into 8 IC posts, 10 is turned into 5, and 20 is turned into 10)

Q: If I make a training post, does it count as an egg post too?
A: yes - we want to make this as easy as possible for our users.

Q: how would i go about using a Rare Candy?
A: in any of your posts, when you feel that using the candy is right, bold the senteice/part when your character feeds it to your Pokemon of choice. a staff member will most likely remove it from your inventory.

Q: why would my character need a tent?
A: it keeps you safe from the wild Pokemon that could attack you at night!

Q: what does EXP share do?
A: lets say if you had one pokemon in battle, you make another one of your pokemon hold it, and they get a little bit of the active pokemon's exp.

Q: where's the evolution thread?
