Blastoise theft!!!!! {Mel}

Today Marcus was going to get a rare pokemon! He smiled and walked down the route looking for a trainer that was going to have to have a rare pokemon like he did. Looking around he shook his head as he looked at the wild pokemon that were running around here. This being the beginning of most trainers journey’s they wouldn’t have any good ones. That was why he was going to have to find some pokemon breeders and steal from them. He couldn’t wait to prove to them that he was going to have his spotlight. It was good that he was training his pokemon to be strong and know a plethora of moves to battle any pokemon.

His eyes scanned the road as he moved off the path. Looking down the cliff he looked and spotted a trainer out there. Maybe this one was going to have a pokemon that he wanted. He spotted a way down and kept his eye on the pokemon trainer. Just to be on the safe side he let Midnight out of her pokeball and she took to the air flying high up to keep an eye on the trainer. As he made his way he kept checking on the Aerodactyl and nodded. The woman was still there.

Moving he blocked the trainers’ way and grabbed a pokeball off of his belt. It was the one that contained Viserion inside. He was going to get his Dragonair all the way up until it evolved into Dragonite! He couldn’t wait for that special day! Then all his pokemon would be at the strong levels and evolved into their final forms. He noticed that the trainer had a Blastoise out and he grinned.

“I want your Blastoise.”

That wasn’t an asking nicely either. It was a more of he was telling her that he was going to take the pokemon from her. He smirked to himself as he held the pokeball out.

“Viserion standby!”

He tossed his pokeball and the Dragonair formed in front of the other trainer.

“Viserion use substitute and then follow it up with a thunder bolt!”

Never give your opponent time to react.

Mel jumped in surprise at the guy just popping down on her. She was supposed to meet Ren after getting split up, but now she had a challenge. Terra stood his ground as the guy sent out a dragonair. The blastoise was not going to let things happen without a challenge. "Terra, use rapid spin and wipe the thunder and get the doll thing!" Mel called to her blastoise. Instantly Terra went into his shell and started spinning at high speeds as he headed towards the substitute.

The bolt hit him, but at such high speeds he absorbed most of the damage into an offensive move. He still felt the hated effects of the bolt despite so. He still spun as he hovered across the air towards the funny doll used for a substitute. Mel watched with anticipation as he got ever so closer to the thing. Mikki in the meanwhile sat in his usual spot on Mel's head to spectate. The jigglypuff was literally never in his ball since Mel and him were so close to each other. Friends for life.

This battle was going to be over soon! He knew it. This Blastoise was going to have to get out of here and be his. He would allow anything to happen to the substitute while it was in battle. It was a good move to have because it was going to have to be destroyed first. He looked at the Blastoise as it stood up and started to use rapid spin. This he hadn’t been expecting. He watched as the Blastoise soaked up the thunder bolt. Damn this Blastoise was strong! He was going to have to take it for himself!

When the substitute was hit with the rapid spin his eyes widened. It had to hold. When it cracked he growled. That was not cool at all! He was going to get this snot nosed Blastoise.

“Viserion use thunder bolt again!”

He watched as the Dragonair released another jet of electric energy into it. A smirk played on his lips as he thought about it! He knew what he needed to do! He was going to have to distract this Blastoise so he could weaken it down. Like Team Nula fought fair!

Looking to the sky he smiled to himself. His attention turned back to the Blastoise and he grinned. He looked back to the sky and nodded.

“Midnight use giga impact!”

He watched as the Areodactyl dove down in its dive for its giga impact attack.

Mel gasped at the double attempt to take out Terra. Well two could play at such a game. "Mikki! Get out there and use rollout on the dragonair! Terra, use skull bash on the aerodactyl while you still can!" Instantly the jigglypuff lifted off by inflating his body. Then as he let out and plummeted to the ground he started spinning. The height would create more speed. Mikki soon his the ground as the dirt rocketed behind his spinning body and he tore a light crater as he headed for the snaking dragon.

Terra was able to tuck his head, the most vital part, into his shell before the bolt hit him. He was a stubborn pokemon, but loyal to Mel nonetheless. He would keep her safe no matter what. He waited as the aerodactyl drew closer before thrusting his head out of his shell as he also took a leap upwards. Although his weakening state would create less of an impact as it usually would.

He smirked as he watched Midnight come in for her attack on the Blastoise. This was not going to end well for the Blastoise. That giga impact was one of the strongest attacks a pokemon could learn. He grinned but then growled as the stupid Jigglypuff entered the battle. He looked around and grinned.

“Viserion jump into the lake!”

He looked at the trainer and then back to Midnight as she came in for the attack. He was going to have to come up with something fast. Looking around he smiled as everything was coming together. This battle would be over in a few minutes now. If only Kiley could be here to see how the battle played out. When the Blastoise jumped he grinned at himself seeing the woman taking the bait.

“Now Midnight turn left and use that giga impact on Jigglypuff! Viserion use thunder bolt while Blastoise is in the air, NOW!”

Now that was tactics! He watched as the Blastoise hit Midnight but it was moving fast enough to shake off the damage and keep going for the Jigglypuff. His eyes moved to the trainer as the whole battle would hopefully be decided in the next few minutes.

Mel scowled at the quick thinking of the trainer. Then she realized, Terra could easily replicate what Mikki just did! "Terra, rapid spin! Head for the lake's edge!" Terra was soon spinning once again and the bolt hit, but at such speeds it did less damage than normal. As with Mikki, Terra was able to use impact to propel forward like a bullet, stopping at the lake edge, just away from the water. He was tiring, but there was another trick up his... Err... Shell.

As for Mikki, he was tearing on so fast that he was headed right for the aerodactyl as the two came close. Just as the fossil Pokemon reached Mikki, it was quite beneficial. The aerodynamic shape of the snout caused Mikki to lift off into the air using the dragon like a ramp! Mel took a mental note to use body structure to advantage. "Mikki, get down and use sing!" The jigglypuff snapped out and fell to the ground, quickly inflating to stop a painful fall. So began a relaxing song, Terra so used to it that it didn't affect him.

He smirked as he looked at the woman as she realized the trap he had led her into. That was when he noticed that the girl was using rapid spin now. He growled and looked at it as it took the electric bolt and only half the normal multiplied damage. He shook his head watched as the Blastoise came up near the water. That was when he noticed what was going on with Midnight and Jigglypuff. He watched the two impact with such force he was awe inspired. He was going to have to use that puffball as batting practice.

When he heard what the trainer said next his eyes widened. Oh no! Not sing! He reached into his bag and pulled out earmuffs. He put them over his ears and shouted his orders out.

“Viserion dive and use ice beam on the lake! Midnight fly up high and get out of range!”

He watched as his pokemon followed orders. When He watched the Jigglypuff he shook his head. How could one little puffball do so much? His eyes shot to the lake as a layer of ice formed on the top of the lake as Viserion dove deeper into the depths.

“Is that all you got?”

He was going to wait this sing out.

Mikki eventually stopped his song as the Pokemon were out of reach of the sound. Mel grumped at that since sing was so useful when it was needed. Terra looked quite tired now, but still standing, as he usually did during a rough battle. "Terra! Surf!" She called to the blastoise as he took one last attempt while his torrent ability kicked in. The water began to stir and then thrash wildly under the thick ice. Soon it was breaking through as it tore away and into the sky like a rocket.

Terra was done right there and then. He started a friend and fell a hero, but Mikki had to get back. "Mikki!" She called her friend back to her, the jigglypuff taking place on her head as usual. "Terra! Hold on Terra!" She called as she ran towards her blastoise, unaware of the fact it was quite dangerous. She was too intent on helping Terra to realize she could do easily be attacked.

He watched as she told it to stop singing. Pulling off the earmuffs he looked as everything else heppaned. The way that the pokemon was working the lake now. Looking up he smiled and looked to the water.

“Midnight come down!”

When the flying pokemon came back down he watched the battle. As the ice on the lake broke away he smiled knowing that his dragon pokemon was free. That was when the Blastoise passed out. He grinned and looked as she recalled the Jigglybuff. He smiled and looked as she got close to the passed out pokemon.

“Viserion come up and wrap this woman up!”

He watched as he jumped out and wrapped the woman up.

“Now your pokemon is mine. Hand over the pokeball.”

He held out his hand as Midnight landed and looked ferocious to the trainer. Grinning he stood right in front of her and waited for the surrender of the pokeball. He pulled out one of his own and released Nidoqueen.

“Watch our new Blastoise, Nidoqueen.”

Mel struggled as the guy had his dragonair hold her down, Mikki dared not move due to the circumstance he was in with Mel. "I'll never give Terra up! You will never make me!" She screamed at the guy. "You are just a thief! A no-good thief without a soul!" She tried to struggle away, but the dragonair's grip was tight. That's when she heard something familiar, something she wasn't supposed to hear.

"Crowe! Pyres! Iron tail and flamethrower!" Came a voice from the path. Soon an arcanine and umbreon came running in and as the arcanine let loose a plume of flame the umbreon used it to ignite his tail as he smashed the hot iron onto the ground nearby. A huge cloud of dust and smoke surrounded the area. Rocking Mel from the dragonair's grasp, but Terra's ball rolling unknowingly from her belt. She coughed as she retreated to her friend who was riding a dodrio. The thick smog was hard to see the trainer that tried to steal Terra in.

He looked at the girl as she tried to struggle. He looked at her as she spoke about him being a thief. What was she on crack? No he wasn’t a thief! He looked her in the eyes and growled.

“You call me the bad guy yet you’re the one who enslaves pokemon for your own selfish gains! Team Nula fights to free pokemon from cruel inconsiderate trainers like yourself!”

He looks from her to the Blastoise that had lost the battle. It was trainers like this that didn’t know how to train their pokemon right to be able to fight under any circumstances. When he heard the other person calling out attacks he growled. Pesky people! He turned around to see another trainer coming up. When the smoke was made he felt something bump his foot. A pokeball! He picked it up and smirked. Pulling out his own he held them out to each pokemon.

“All of you return!”

When the Blastoise returned to the pokeball he grinned. He now had a Blastoise and a strong one! He moved to Midnight and hopped on her back. She let out a long screech.

“Aerodactyl!!!!”

The pokemon took off and he hovered above them in the sky above the smoke.

“Thank you for the Blastoise! I’m sure it will be happy free of your evil bonds!”

He held up the pokeball and then hooked it to his belt as they gained altitude and headed off west to a new part of the island.

Mel looked in anguish as the trainer took Terra from her and far away. She had raised Terra since he was just an egg, and to the very last evolution stage. Terra was a stubborn pokemon with a quick temper to match even a groudon. Although no Pokemon could ever come close to being as loyal as Terra was. Their friendship was second in comparison to her and Mikki's. "He's gone..." Mel cried as she slumped to the ground. Years pouring from her face as Mikki tried to reconcile her.

Ren frowned as he got off Dodi, who needed a break as the dodrio wasn't a Pokemon he usually rode to get places. Pyres was the one for that stuff. Quickly recalling all but Crowe he wandered to kneel in front of Mel. "Hey. We'll get him back. I promise. You can't leave a friend, no matter who or what they are." He told her reassuringly as he held his hands in her shoulders. When she latched into him in a hug as she cried into his shoulder he sighed. I promise I will help you, Mel. Never would I not. He thought to himself as he knelt there reassuring his childhood friend.
