Training and catching! {Kiley}

“Kiley!

Marcus saw her sitting there and he couldn’t help but smile. Today they were going to make the team happy by stealing some more pokemon to breed and then set free from their trainers. He couldn’t help but be happy about that. But first they needed to have some fun. Running up he sat next to her under the tree and gave her a sly smile as he placed a small kiss to her cheek.

“How are you doing?”

Looking her way his mind couldn’t help but race thinking about all the pokemon they were going to get and help. His hand absently went to his belt and he grabbed one of his pokeballs that was just sitting there. Inside his Nidoqueen sat. Looking at the ball he furrowed his brows together and have her a smile.

“Feel like doing me a favor babe?”

Standing up he moved so he was in front of her; his eyes looking her and her outfit over. They had been friends for so long he couldn’t remember when they automatically made that switch from friends to boyfriend and girlfriend. Offering her his hand he gave her a smirk.

“My Nidoqueen needs some more experience in battle. Feel like giving her a hand?”

"Kiley!"

"Huh?" The dark haired girl turned her head slightly and smiled when she saw her boyfriend coming up onto the path. She had only recently left the Pokecenter in Altic after seeing that there weren't any rare Pokemon to steal. Disappointed, she had come back this way to eat some lunch and head on her way back to her previous camping spot. Now that he was here, she wouldn't be so alone! She blushed when he kissed her cheek, smiling kindly at him. "Not much! I tried to get some more Pokemon but ... there weren't any worth my time, nor my Ditto's." Normally she bred and sold eggs as fast as she could, and released the stolen Pokemon so it wouldn't be tracked back to her.

She had actually stolen the Steelix she had with her; as a rule Nula members weren't supposed to have more than three Pokemon at all times. "A favor?" She tilted her head to the side, smiling still. Marcus had proven to be a great person, and when they were paired together, they hadn't been seperated since. As he mentioned training, she bit the corner of her lip playfully, leaning back on her hands. "I dunno, Marcus. I mean, I do have this new Steelix I want to try out..." The Steelix had strictly been for breeding purposes, but like any young girl without a seriously powerful Pokemon, Kiley had fallen in love with the big iron rock and refused to give her up.

"Let's do it!" She suddenly sprang up, grinning at Marcus. "If I lose... I'll buy dinner tonight. If you lose..." She paused for dramatic effect, "You let me breed your Aerodactyl!" Kiley held her hand out for the agreement, her grin now wicked instead of playful.

He looked at her as she looked up at him. He couldn’t wait to just relax and spend some time with her. They had been stealing pokemon and he hated when they didn’t get any time to relax. He smiled at her when she blushed after the kiss to her cheek.

“Urg, what is with these trainers? Are they ever going to bring us pokemon that are worth our time?”

The agitation he had couldn’t help but be noticed. It was because of these trainers that they were all behind. One of these days he was going to get that legendary Groudon and then he would have the power to take over and free all pokemon. His eyes widened when she spoke up about the Steelix.

“What? Are you going to keep it?”

A smirk played on his lips. She really was a rule breaker. If she kept it he would cover and say it was a wild one that she had caught. As she sprang up he laughed and looked into her eyes. His own burning fiercely as he looked at her.

“If I lose what?”

When she spoke up his eyes widened. She wanted to breed his most prized pokemon? They were so rare he was nervous about this new bet. He thought about it and then smirked.

“On the condition you keep the egg for yourself and train it.”

His eyes looking into hers as he stepped closer. When it came to Aerodactyl he didn’t play around. It was his baby and she was one of his best pokemon.

“So do we have a deal? If so then standby it’s time to battle!”

He flicked his wrist and released his Nidoqueen from her pokeball.

"They're all newbies. I mean, we could start stealing from the breeders but then we have to lug eggs around and it's not worth it..." Kiley sighed, swinging her legs slightly. She was a breeder, she knew how much time babysitting an egg took. She had to get some eggs for the team once, and oh Kiley was never doing that again. A normal egg took about a week to hatch. Multiply that by ... well, by whatever! That's a lot of eggs to look after. Thankfully, Kiley had only just sold the last few ones she had left, so she didn't have to worry about it. She watched him carefully, scrunching her nose cutely.

Kiley nodded at Marcus' question on if she was going to keep the Steelix or not. "Oh, of course I am! I'm allowed three Pokemon, and well, I gave the rest of those hatched eggs away! Besides, it's not like I have super strong Pokemon anyways." She smirked at him; the only 'strong' Pokemon she had was Tex, and even then he was still weak enough to be considered 'filler'. When he began to talk about the one condition, Kiley bit the corner of her lip again. If there were more than just the one egg, she would have to do something with the other ones. "Deal." She said, shaking his hand, before taking her spot a fair few paces from him.

"Best outta three, right Marcus?" She called, smiling as she picked her Steelix 'ball. She hadn't named it yet, because she wasn't sure if she could actually keep it. 'After this battle, I'll name you,' she thought as her boyfriend's Nidoqueen was brought out. Damn. She looked wicked strong. With a equally silent flick of her wrist, her giant Steelix came out, a gutteral growl following it. "Steelix! Thunder Fang!" Kiley called out quickly - status hits were her favourite moves.

“We could start stealing from them. It would at least give us a chance to find some good pokemon. For all we know someone could have a good rare pokemon.”

He looked her over and thought about all the rare pokemon that they could hopefully find. They would be able to get all these rare pokemon and get rich and then take over. His mind wondered to the thoughts of the future. As he thought everything through he couldn’t help but feel excited. Looking her over he couldn’t help but smile at his partner in crime and the girl he loved.

“Good! You really do need a strong pokemon in your party. But once you train them all up you will be good to go. It’s just like me when I get all mine trained up.”

As she bit the corner of her lip he moved his lips closer to hers. He knew she was going to take the deal. When she finally said she would do it he smiled.

“Awesome! If there’s two I always wanted another one.”

Did you think he was going to let these things go to just anyone? Hell no! He would train it up and store it away. He was a little selfish like that. Shaking her hand he smiled as he placed a gentle kiss to her lips. Now they were going to get on with the battle!

“Yes best out of three!”

He stood away from her as she brought out the Steelix. His eyes widened seeing the large iron snake pokemon there. Like a gentleman that he was he was going to let her have the first move. When she spoke up he smirked and stood there.

“Nidoqueen take the hit and then hit it with a point blank brick break!”

A fighting move against this Steelix would do major damage.

Kiley had thought about stealing from breeders, but she wouldn't give others the eggs she stole, because ... well, it wasn't like she would go to the breeder she was stealing from and ask 'oh hey whats this egg, that egg, and the other?' That wasn't her job. Her job was to scare the new trainers and breeders off her island! Kiley blushed again when he kissed her softly, biting the corner of her lip as he cheeks went pink. She had been dating Marcus for a little while, and she still continued to get embarrassed when he was affectionate towards her.

Although, she had to think past that. It was time to battle!

When the hit landed, Kiley cheered, but stopped mid-way when she remembered that Nidoqueen was half ground type. The Thunder Fang wouldn't have a serious effect! Biting the corner of her lip now out of sudden anxiety, she watched as the Nidoqueen gathered her energy and completed the move, knocking into her Steelix. The grand iron snake roared in pain. "No!" Kiley yelled. Narrowing her eyes, she stared at the Nidoqueen before looking back at her Steelix. "Screech!" She called, pointing at the Nidoqueen. Steelix reared up and drew in a breath, before releasing a loud high pierced screech attack.

The way she blushed when he kissed her still got to him. It was so cute! He smiled at her even as they started the battle. He looked on as his Nidoqueen took the hit full force then smashed the iron snake with the brick break attack.

“Focus and remember all the types pokemon are. Electric type attacks won’t work on her.”

He gave her a smile cheering her on silently as she called out her next attack. So she was going with a screech attack huh? Thinking about it for a second he bit his lip and sighed.

“Nidoqueen! Dodge and use surf!”

He looked to her hoping that she knew what to do in this situation.

"I know!" Kiley called to him, huffing slightly. So she wasn't the smartest or one of the more tactical trainers out there; she definitely had the breeders touch when it came to Pokemon. As she watched the battle, her mind scanned and ran through everything she learned in school... which to be truthful wasn't a lot. She was hardly at school; skipping classes to meet up with Nula members, she had officially dropped out just a few months ago to get in permanently with Team Nula.

Kiley growled slightly when the Screech missed, but balked when she heard the next attack. Obviously, Surf would hurt Steelix to a damaging point. "Crap. Rock Tomb, Steelix! Build it around the Nidoqueen!" So the tomb wouldn't hold the Surf back forever, it would hopefully hold it back long enough for Kiley to scramble together a last-ditch effort to keep Steelix in the game. Rocks began to burst out of the ground around the Nidoqueen.

He smirked when she called out that she knew. This is what happened when you ditched school too much. He wanted to hold her and smile but right now this was a serious practice battle. He looked on and smiled to himself when she made a last ditch effort to stop the water attack from coming. He looked as the rocks encased his Nidoqueen up holding the flood in. He waited for a few seconds to make sure that there would be enough water.

“This was a good battle. You know what will happen though right?”

That water was going to flood the field and Steelix was going to be in big trouble. He looked at the tomb noticing small amounts of water were leaking from between the rocks. It was time to finish this.

“Nidoqueen use brick break and smash the rocks!”

He yelled it to make sure his pokemon would be able to hear him. That was when he heard the smashing on the rocks. Any second now and the field would be flooded. His eyes watched as cracks started to form.

Kiley bit her lip then glared at Marcus; playfully though. "This battle isn't over! Best out of three, remember?" Yeah. That was going to end real fast if she didn't start paying more attention to the fight rather than her adorable boyfriend. She hoped her Ditto would be able to at least take one of these monsters out. Well, they weren't monsters. Kiley knew that skipping school hadn't been such a good idea... but look at where she was now! She technically had a job, a somewhat steady pay... and she got to be with her boyfriend!

Kiley! Focus!

When Marcus called the attacks, Kiley inwardly groaned. Dammit! This was going to be over sooner than she wanted it to be! Looks like she was buying dinner tonight... "Steelix... get the hell out of the way!" She hadn't taught it any defensive moves other than Screech. Dig would have to become a part of the Steelix's arsenal if she expected to keep the iron snake. As it sluggishly moved, the walls of rock finally cracked. "Steelix!" Kiley yelped, as the water crashed through the broken rock and nearly wiped the iron and steel snake out. It crashed and rolled to the ground, coming to a shuddering stop only a few feet from Kiley.

Fainted.

Pouting slightly she pulled the pokeball from her belt and recalled the Steelix. "You beat me!" Kiley called to Marcus. "Next round?"

“I know it’s not over yet darling. But this part of it is.”

He looked at his beautiful girlfriend while still paying attention to the battle. It wasn’t her fault he had two years on her at battling. He gave her a smile and then put his eyes back on the battle. This Steelix was going to need to learn dig if it was going to survive more powerful attacks. She had the attacks to use against Nidoqueen she just didn’t use them.

When she gave her last order he watched as it was too late. When the water flooded the field he smiled to himself as the Steelix fainted. He looked at the Nidoqueen and then walked up to her patting her shoulder.

“You did well, return.”

He held up his pokeball and she returned inside it in a flash of red light.

“You did amazing, Kiley. You just need to teach it some defensive moves.”

He moved back to where he had been and smiled at her.

“Ladies first.”

He waited for her to call out her next pokemon.
