There seemed to be nothing more in the town to investigate, and she presumed if she could find a PC to update her notes, she would. But what would she really be reporting..? That the first town was rinky dink, no gym, the professor was a plump little Delibird of a man, and the entire town seemed to think something was up about her. Only two good things happened ; an oddly shaded Skitty had attached herself to her upon arrival, and she had gotten a charismatic little Charmander from sir Delibird. A Duchess, and a Sasha, despite the fact that most people would associate such a name with a female individual.
This region was, so far, a disappointment. Maybe the next town would have a more impressive population and sights, and perhaps even this tiny route would provide some very interesting species of Pokemon. Yet, Vovin was still having the time of her life while watching Sasha dawdle behind her. Blue hues met and they were just as bright, full of experiences to be had and innocence. He knew not of her crimes against society, nor did he even seem to care. In fact, they had already gone through a little conversation ; due to splicing, she had the vague ability to understand some scarce bits of his speech but at times enough to answer a question or ask him to reiterate his sentence with less wording or in a slower fashion. But so far, she had simply explained her life. He had little to talk about, but they had one thing in common ; they spent majority of their lives in labs. He getting treated after falling from a high height, she getting genetically improved.
For now, she was content walking with only a sweet little tune she hummed consistently, and he inspecting his tail flame and inspecting every nook and cranny they crossed by. With any luck, he could stumble upon a critter or two to catch on their way to the next village..

The girl burst out through the bushes lining the path, unheeding of the trail of broken branches and shredded leaves in her wake. Behind her followed a Teddiursa, considerably less harried, only just making the effort to keep up. His ears twitched again at this recent yell, and he clapped his forepaws over them, muttering to himself in annoyance. Humans! Why were they always shouting and hurrying, rushing from here to there? (Oh, granted, he'd seen only two of them in his short life -- Professor Lief, and now his new caretaker -- but surely one can extrapolate.) He didn't at all approve of the ruckus. Instead, that bush full of berries looked a lot more interesting, and not nearly as deafeningly loud...
The source of the commotion was busily flying away. Wingstrokes haphazard, the Pidgey banked hard towards her home-tree, a whole piece of bread clenched in her little beak. What a wonderful lunch it would make for the flock! And what a wonderful lunch Elisa was going to miss, it seemed.
A human could hardly outrun a Pidgey, even one so small; panting and bracing her hands on her knees, Lisa scowled in the general direction of the bird (now a rapidly-shrinking spot of brown and tan amongst the tree crowns) and mentally berated herself for her carelessness. They had been relaxing happily under the shade of a large tree when the small Pokemon had darted out and made off with her red-bean bun. The crafty bird had been waiting for her to put it down before snatching it and flying away -- just thinking about it made her all annoyed again. She wouldn't have minded sharing a little with the wild Pokemon, but see, this was straight-up robbery, wasn't it?
Straightening, she sadly decided that since her lunch break had been forcibly terminated by a certain Pidgey, it was time to continue towards Vida village. Turning to look for her Teddiursa, she realised that it had been another grave mistake on her part to leave him on his own. The cub was too curious to not wander, and he was also short -- short enough to be covered by most of the undergrowth. Casting about worriedly, Elisa thought she saw a figure a bit further down the road; it was likely another person (it was definitely too tall to be a Pokemon, she thought, even judging from this distance), and he (also most likely a guy, by that height) might or might not have seen her Pokemon. Either way, it was worth a shot. "Oy! Hello! 'm sorry, but didja see a Teddiursa come by this way just now?"
