ABOUT[/size] Meet Rainbow Grace. His name is Rain, for the love for god, because he will not answer to Rainbow, and he sure as hell won't ever introduce himself as anything but Rain. He's spent the past nineteen years of his life as a petty thief, a con-artist, and an all around criminal. He lies compulsively. He wears a friendly smile and delivers a warm handshake like an honest-to-god good samaritan, perfectly harmless guy next door.

He's been stabbed a few times, lost an ear (he tends to wear headphones or a hat or pull up a hood to cover his ears), and when the prison shrink suggested he consider a new way of life such as pokemon training, Rain thought maybe that's not so bad an idea if he wants to stay alive. So here we are.

FRIENDSHIPS[/size] Open to making new friends and having old friends! Newer ones will likely know him as a pretty nice guy (he's going to at least TRY to not be a thieving jerkass). Older ones are likely to either be closer than blood, the sort Rain would stick by come hell or high water, or they're likely to be a bit more distant, and they'd be wise to trust Rain only as far as they can spit.

LOVESHIPS[/size] I'm exploring Rain as I go, so I'm not even sure what his sexuality is. For now, let's say open to anybody. If you're interested in an already established relationship, ie someone from his past, I can probably work something out. To forge a new romance now, Rain's slow to trust (and maybe asexual, but he's not aromantic), but it shouldn't be impossible!

HATESHIPS[/size] Like friendships, old enemies and new enemies/rivals are welcome! In particular for his past, I'd love to see 1) the badass that handed his ass back to him in a fight, and 2) whoever it was that caught him red-handed and got him thrown into jail to begin with. For rivals, Rain could be anything from friendly to downright hateful depending. I'm open to anything!

ABOUT[/size] Esme's lead a charmed life. Born the third child (first of twins) to a wealthy family, she's a terror simply because she doesn't understand the meaning of no. From worse to worst, Esme's also a low level psychic, capable of surface telepathy and minor telekinesis. She is an egotistic brat of the highest proportions, and sadly, she's smart enough to justify her arrogance. Test after test has proven her a genius, and her psychic powers serve only to blow her head up even more. Sadly, her social skills are mostly nonexistent.

She's always been a rebellious child. For example, her parents wanted her to grow up to be a proper young lady, wear nice dresses, find some Rich Boy's arm to dangle off of, and otherwise keep quiet. Instead, she decided to go on a pokemon adventure. The family is Not Pleased, but Esme's superpower is wheedling whatever she wants out of the de Winters, so here she is, off gallivanting across Kaspan just because she can.

FRIENDSHIPS[/size] Not exactly friendly, Esme tends to be courteous and respectful, too formal to be warm, and far too aristocratic to be personable. She introduces herself as Miss de Winter, so if you even want her first name, you'll have to ask for that specifically. Still, she has a good heart, and she'll be a loyal friend or traveling companion that means the best even if she's a bit prissy at times.

LOVESHIPS[/size] She won't ever admit it, but Esme believes in true love. Half the reason she's left home was because she didn't want to end up saddled into a political marriage with a Rich Boy's bank account. She's a soppy romantic, but despite that, Esme's more focused on becoming the very best than anything else at the moment. She's not seeking out love, but if it stumbles into her path, she'd happily welcome it.

HATESHIPS[/size] Stubborn, headstrong, and proud, Esme's more likely to make rivals and perhaps enemies over friends. She takes defeat with a clenched jaw and a cold handshake, and she never, ever forgets a slight. Anyone that bests her will be remembered, and even if the other party doesn't care, Esme will begin preparing herself for a future rematch if not a lifelong rivalry.

♥ TRISTAN DE WINTER

15 - male - breeder - psychic - cynical - arrogant - quiet[/center]
ABOUT[/size] The younger but probably the more mature of the de Winter twins, Tristan is quietly arrogant to Esme's loudly arrogant. He's just as much of an egotistic jerk as Esme, but he keeps himself under wraps, nods politely to strangers, mouths all the right words, and certainly comes across as perfectly saintly with an inexhaustible patience for dealing with his sister. He can warm up enough to be the life of a party, but that's only an act--and mind you, the young master de Winter is a very, very good actor.

As a pokemon breeder, he's mostly benefitting off of his mother's longtime hobby. The de Winter family has long bred fine, fit pokemon, and Tristan's taken up her mantle for the next generation. He has zero interest in petty battles, but he's decided (partially at his father's suggestion, but mostly because he thinks she's incompetent) to tail Esme in her travels.

HATESHIPS[/size] Easy-going and uncompetitive (at least as far as pokemon go), Tristan can't really be bothered to hold any rivalries with other breeders or otherwise. Still, while he's generally very mild and unruffled, at heart he's caustic and unforgiving, so if anyone can get far enough onto his bad side to even get his bad side to show, Tristan is prime material for a proper archnemesis.

Okay. Idea here. I think it would be interesting to have the De Winter twins run into my two charries, Ren and Melody. It would create quite a diverse group with each one's personalities. Ren is a shy and elusive boy where Mel is probably the happiest person they could meet. She is sort of odd though where she can vary in intelligence. One moment she is a genius and another she has the IQ of a tater tot. XD

Haha, I've actually been waiting to reply to your open thread with the twins! Esme's still at the labs though, so I can't post with her anywhere else until she's out of there, but yes, I'd love to see how they all interact~

Esme will probably take well to Ren (she takes well to pretty much anyone that doesn't stand up to her), and she might get along with Mel too. Mel's going to give Tristan a headache though with all that good cheer. xD
